And she TRASHED THE DRESS too !!!

Remember Craig and Veronica? Check out the previous Blog, if you havent already...

A couple of days after their wedding, literally on their way to their honeymoon, they made a pitstop at my house to go out for a Trash the Dress Session at Patapsco State Park (my favorite!)

We all had a blast ..... I loved that Craig was all for the pictures... usually the guys have to be forced to get their pictures taken ;)

Wedding of Craig and Veronica

I first met with Veronica and Craig about a year ago and instantly liked them. I was so excited when they told me that they decided to have me photograph their wedding in Harrisburg, PA (my first out of state wedding).

September 27th of 2008 was the big day. The bride and groom had rented out Felicita (http://www.felicitaresort.com/ ) in Harrisburg where they got ready and also held their reception. The ceremony was off site at a beautiful church in Harrisburg.

We had met on location a few weeks before the wedding and I was so excited about the pictures, after seeing how beautiful everything was.

The day of the wedding it was pouring rain. I was bummed, but Veronica didnt have one negative word to say. She was bubbly and happy and didnt mind at all.. I thought her attitude was just awesome! She really had this sparkle in her eyes and was the sunshine of the day.

Below a link to some of the images. Arent they a handsome couple?

Veronica and Craig, I am so happy that I was able to be part of your day and almost sad that the wedding is over because I had so much fun with you guys. How could I not love you... Veronica, you being a fellow Salsa dancer - and Craig, you looking like the twin of Boris Becker, a german tennis player I used to think was the most famous person in the world (okay, thats when I was 6 or so)

I wish you a long and happy marriage!

Kerry and Shawn's Wedding

I met Kerry and Shawn a little while ago and was excited when they told me that they chose me to photograph their wedding.

The weather on the day of the wedding was gorgeous. Blue skies, warm... just awesome.

Kerry got ready at the Celie’s Waterfront Inn in Fells Point ... I walked in and fell in love with the place. The Brick wall... the great light coming through the windows..

I wanted to head over to the church a few minutes before Kerry to be all set up ... so after she was all dressed I walked out the door and had to realize that the gate to get out to the street was locked. Now the door to the hotel was locked and the gate to the street as well and I was stucl in this little hallway outside. I waited around for a while, thinking that they had to come out sooner or later, tried calling up a few times (smart me left her cell phone in the car).
About 5 minutes later I couldnt hear their voices anymore and 10 more minutes into it I started freaking out a little. So finally I just held my arm through the gate and stopped some innocent people that walked by, asking them to buzz the office next door. I had quite an audience there by the time I was released out of my "jail cell" haha. I still made it to the church before Kerry... because unlike my worries, there was no other way out for them, so I hadnt missed them.

The ceremony was beautiful, the church (St. Joseph’s Monastery in Baltimore) - AMAZING!

The Reception was at Michaels, 8th Ave in Glen Burnie and everyone had a blast.

Congratulations Kerry and Shawn, it was a pleassure to be working with you guys!

Energetic Toddler Session at Patapsco State Park

I was honored when one of my fellow Nestie's asked me to photograph her 16 month old granddaughter.
We decided to go to Patapsco State Park and just let her have some fun and get pictures of her being herself. That's the best way to get beautiful pictures of any child between 1 and 3 anyway, at least that's how I feel.

Cailin was so much fun, she is such a cute little thing and I think that her personality reflects well in her images.

Fun Boudoir Session

I have been doing a lot of Boudoir Shoots lately and I am always excited if I get permission to post some of the shots.

I think Boudoir Photography is an amazing thing. Every woman has this little thing or that she doesnt like about herself.. but every woman wants to looks sexy... and every woman can!
I think the best gift you can give to yourself is a set of photographs that portraits how great you look.

Ash was super fun to work with. Her sister was there for support and we had a great time. She had rented a room at the Westin by BWI which worked out great to become a Getaway surprise for her fiancee's birthday. The Westin is super nice by the way and I was told the showers are to die for.

Ash, enjoy your pictures and I hope your upcoming wedding will be the most wonderful day ever!

Stephanie and Jakob's Wedding

I first met Stephanie in 2007 when she came with a friend for a pre-wedding consultation. We clicked right away and she booked me for her weddingvow renewal in october 2007. Shortly after, I found out I was pregnant - due 3 days after her wedding. I did not want to take the risk of her not having a photographer, should I be in the hospital at the date of her wedding. I was so sad that I had to cancel.

Fate somehow wanted it that they had to re-schedule the wedding ... the new date was July 19th 2008 .. and Stephanie re-booked me for her date. I was so excited since I had really been looking foward to working with her. And not only that.. came to find out that now she was pregnant! How exciting!!

Her wedding was small and beautiful. The church was pretty hot. Even though almost 9 month pregnant, Stephanie stood happy and smiling, with tears of joy on her cheek, while Jakob smiled back at her visibly proud.

Stephanie, you have become more of a friend than a client, I am so happy that I was able to capture your special day for you after all. And I also want to send you my congratulations to the birth of your little baby boy!
